From the South
If approaching from the
south, leave the main A9 at the second Aviemore turning,
signposted to Grantown on Spey. Head towards Grantown on
the A95 until you reach a right turning to Boat of Garten
and Nethy Bridge. Go right, follow the road through Boat
of Garten and across the River Spey to a T-junction. Turn
left for Nethy Bridge and continue for 2 ½ miles until the
road sweeps round under the pylons. Follow the road sharply
right round a bend and on the apex of the next bend you
will see a signpost on the left-hand side of the road with
Mondhuie Chalets and B&B on it. This points right up
a drive - to our house and chalets. |

From the North
If approaching from the
north along the A9, come off at Carrbridge and follow signs
for Grantown until the turning mentioned above to Boat of
Garten and Nethy Bridge. Proceed as described above. If
coming through Grantown on Spey, follow the A95 south out
of the town and take the B970 right for Nethy Bridge at
the Smokehouse. Follow this road for about 5 miles into
Nethy Bridge, cross the river and proceed past the shop
and football field. Continue past the speed limit sign,
round a left-hand bend and along a straight. We are on the
apex of the next left-hand bend, with the signpost on the
right-hand side of the road pointing up our drive on the
left. |
